Court sets July 4 for commencement of trial of former COCOBOD CEO
The Court Presided over by Justice Clemence Honyenuga, set the date after it ordered prosecution to make available to the defense team of both Dr. Opuni and Seidu Agongo all documents listed in the motion.
According the Court, all documents and witness statements must be given on time and be relevant.
He said disclosure must also be done within seven days.
Justice Honyenuga warned that adjournment would not be tolerated. Dr Opuni is standing trial for causing financial loss to the state to the tune of 217 million cedis and has since pleaded not guilty to all 27 charges leveled against him.
